The Youth of Altus
Altus helps young men navigate the critical years from the end of high school through university and into early professional life. Through meaningful friendships, dedicated mentoring, and shared experiences, we challenge each other to grow in character, purpose, and service.
All of Altus’s activities are based on a Christian view of life that recognizes the dignity of the human person, the inherent goodness of the created world, the value of human work, and the God-given moral law. Altus was inspired by the spirit of St. Josemaria, who promoted the search for holiness in daily life.

At Altus, we believe that the years of young adulthood are foundational. These are the years to cultivate integrity, resilience, generosity, and deep personal conviction. Through their experience in Altus, we help young men better understand themselves and build the virtues needed to lead, serve, and love—both now and in the future.

Family & Foundations
We recognize that the influence of family, both past and future, is central to a man’s life. While Altus is focused on individual growth, we seek to support men who are preparing to form strong, stable families, and who honor the role of their parents and upbringing.
Mentorship & Personal Formation
Altus is more than events.–it’s about personal growth, guided by experience. One-on-one mentorship is a key part of the Altus experience. Whether navigating school, relationships, career decisions, or other life questions, each member has access to trusted mentors who help connect high ideals to real life.
Alpine Skies
Altus is a program of Alpine Skies, Inc. (alpineskies.org). Alpine Skies conducts programs for both young and adult men which emphasize professional excellence, family, friendship, service, and spiritual growth.
